Workshop: Politics and Citizen Engagement

Zielgruppe

If your level in English is B1 or higher, and you wish to enhance your English language proficiency in the political domain, then this workshop is for you.

Inhalt und Ziele

This 3-hour session is designed to provide a targeted boost to your English language proficiency, empowering you to engage in informed discussions on politics, constitutional aspects, and administrative topics. You will be able to navigate political topics with better fluency and accuracy, and partake with more confidence in the world of governance in English.

  • Political Terminology and Vocabulary: Expand your lexicon and put it into immediate action via interactive presentation and discussion.
  • Effective Communication in Politics: Participate in role plays designed to teach techniques for engaging with constituents, handling citizen inquiries and concerns, and delivering persuasive messages.
  • Mastering Political Documents: Analyze political documents, reports, and legislative texts, and practice the drafting of an effective communiqué.

Lernmethode

With a small group of people, you will be fully engaged in working with the trainer in the domains described above.

Über den/die Trainer/in

Hess John Scott

Head Teacher of The Cambridge Institute. He puts at your service nearly a quarter century of experience of teaching English and managing in language education, plus five years in business and property law. Specialized in the English of law, management, politics, economics and science, with extensive experience training and coaching members of large organizations and the civil service. He holds academic degrees as Magister and M. A. (Modern European History).
